A kundli (birth chart) is a map of where the Sun, Moon and planets were at the exact moment and place of your birth. Vedic astrology reads it using the sidereal zodiac, measured against the fixed stars.
Why do you need my exact birth time?
The lagna (ascendant) changes roughly every two hours, and all twelve houses depend on it. A time within a few minutes gives the most reliable reading; if you only know an approximate time, the rashi and nakshatra are usually still correct.
